Sunrise over an enchanted European vineyard? Sure looks like it, as you ascend on a cushion of wind, breaking the bonds of gravity aboard a beautiful Hot Air Balloon in Temecula Valley Wine Country.

We'll fly high enough to afford a commanding view of the sprawling and spreading South Coast Winery and Resort, Ponte Estate Winery, Stuart Cellars, Long Shadow Winery, and Mount Palomar Winery, to name a few!

And all without spilling a drop of your Mimosa, a favorite Balloonist breakfast - the delicious mix of orange juice and excellent local champagne. It is a salute to your quiet, free flight over a rising star in the art and tradition of California wine making Temecula! Even the name has a heady ring to it.

 

Temeclua Valley Wine Country Balloon Adventure

Your adventure will begin at Vindemia Vineyard, a private vineyard in the middle of Temecula Wine Country - centrally located between San Diego and Los Angeles. Arriving shortly before sunrise to a cup of piping hot coffee, cocoa or hot tea.

Get a Great View of the sprawling and spreading South Coast Winery and Resort, Ponte Estate Winery, Stuart Cellars, Long Shadow Winery, and Mount Palomar Winery, to name a few!

 

You'll leisurely float over rolling hills, impeccably planted rows of lush vineyards, and inspect the angular lines of red tile roofs of Country Estates and Ranches in magnificent settings. You might even skim through the top branches of a citrus tree and harvest a fruit in the process all in the course of an hour covering anywhere from three to seven miles. When you are aloft in the balloon you will be around fifteen hundred feet above the earth, and that’s what makes those views so fantastic!

You'll fly so high, and so well, that you will laugh, along with Mother Nature, and you'll gently return, as we like to say, into the loving arms of Mother Earth, somewhere in scenic Temecula Valley. We then return to La Vindemia where you will continue the celebration.

One of the many highlights of the Temecula Wine Country Balloon Ride is the Delectable Breakfast that we host at La Vindemia. After your balloon flight, you’ll enjoy a gourmet pastry breakfast, featuring specialty fruits, Champagne, Mimosas, and juice, tea or coffee, in a private Rose Garden. This unique pristine setting while enjoying breakfast with friends and/or loved ones is a wonderful way to reflect on your special ballooning experience.

Departure Location and Meeting Time:

• Flights depart from La Vindemia Vineyard 33133 Vista Del Monte Temecula, California 92591. Driving Directions will be provided on your email confirmation voucher.

• Your departure time is between 5:15am - 6:30am, depending on the month of your reservation. Actual meeting time to be set by balloon operator - this time will be indicated on your confirmation voucher, provided after booking. Please meet 15 minutes before your flight check-in time.

• From the time you leave your car until the time you return to your car, the time involved is usually three to three and a half hours. This includes driving you to the launch site in one of our Club Vans, watching the inflation of the balloon (perfect opportunity to use those cameras), the balloon ride itself, and having the celebration after landing. And of course for our Sunrise Flight, you will also enjoy the breakfast at La Vindemia. Of course, we drive you back to the meeting location.

• Weather is obviously an important factor in ballooning. That is why we have mandatory phone calls prior to each flight, for that final weather confirmation. If we do have to cancel the flight because of weather conditions, of course, there is no charge to our passengers. We usually will be able to fly the following day, either Sunrise or Sunset Flights. It is highly recommended that you keep a couple of optional days in mind when making your balloon ride reservation, just in case there is a weather cancellation.

Important Information:

• If any passenger is pregnant they may not fly -- we're sorry.

• Attire: Sweatshirt, Jacket (it is cool in the early morning & evening). Baseball cap or hat (recommended for passengers 6 feet or taller since the burners give off a lot of heat).

• Every guest must be able to take two steps up into the basket and stand for an hour in the basket.

• Your Pilot, armed with years of safely maneuvering our balloons amid the winds and a mountain of information to share about your flight and the wine world below you, will gauge the wind direction and speed and pick the perfect launch site. Spacious vans will take you there and the dream realization begins.

• Balloon Capacity depends on the number of reservations we have for that ride. We have a variety of colorful balloons, the smallest accommodates six to eight passengers, and the largest accommodates fourteen passengers! All of our baskets are large, European design, and partitioned to give each passenger maximum comfort and visibility.

 

Payment:

Your credit card will be charged the total amount of products and services selected at the time of booking. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover Cards.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher:

This tour must be booked at least 48hrs in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print this voucher on and present SIGNED voucher at departure location. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

Cancellation and No Show Policy:

Cancellations within 72 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 72 hours are charged a minimum $10.00 per person administration fee. We charge 100% for No Shows. If the tour is cancelled by the tour operator, the full ticket price will be refunded.

Supplier and Tourcorp assume no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, breakdown, weather, conditions of trails, roads, bays, oceans, rivers, airspace and any other conditions beyond control of Supplier, in addition to insufficient numbers of passengers.

Comfortable shoes, extra layer of warm clothing, hats, visors and sunglasses. Weather: Tour route or activity may be changed depending on local weather conditions. Gratuities and Souvenirs are not included.
