La Jolla Coastal Bike Tour- Hike Bike Kayak San Diego

Start from our shop at La Jolla Shores. We will ride on the bike path overlooking the ocean, through the beautiful back streets of La Jolla, through Bird Rock, Wind'nSea, Pacific Beach and then return to La Jolla Shores. We always stop at La Jolla Cove and Children's Pool on the way back and usually see quite a few seals or sea lions!

Tour Details:

Start from our shop at La Jolla Shores. We will ride on the bike path overlooking the ocean and through the beautiful side streets of La Jolla, Bird Rock, Wind'nSea, Pacific Beach and return. We stop on the way back at La Jolla Cove and the Children's Pool and usually see quite a few seals or sea lions! Approximately 2 hours. Available daily all year around.

What is Provided: Multi-speed hybrid-type bicycle, helmet, water, snacks and guide.

What to Bring: Comfortable shirt and shorts (pants as needed). Jacket, windbreaker or sweatshirt as required. Closed-toed shoes (sandals and flip-flops not recommended!). Sunscreen. Optional: small daypack, camera.

Ages and Participant Requirements: Ages 8 and up (trail-a-bikes available.)

What to Expect and Start Location: The pace is not strenuous, but expect to do some pedaling! The tour is mostly flat, with a few hills (that can be walked up). We meet at our La Jolla Shores shop, where you will check in, sign waivers, get fitted for a bike, etc. You will drive to the top of Mt. Soledad in your vehicle, (the bikes are trucked to the top). It is a short drive and we provide instructions. After the tour, we will return you to your car. Free parking is available on the side streets. The spots marked two-hour parking are NOT RECOMMENDED (not enough time).
