La Jolla Plunge Bike Tour
Our most popular bike tour.
Start with the stunning 360 degree views from Mt. Soledad. After we soak in the sights, we zoom down the 3.5 mile decent to the ocean.
From there we tour some of San Diego's MOST prestigious and quaint neighbors, including La Jolla, Pacific Beach, and Mission Beach. On the return, we usually stop to take in the fun at La Jolla's own seal rookery (the Children's Pool.)

What is Provided: Multi-speed hybrid-type bicycle, helmet, water, snacks and guide.
What to Bring: Comfortable shirt and shorts (pants as needed). Jacket, windbreaker or sweatshirt as required. Closed-toed shoes (sandals and flip-flops not recommended!). Sunscreen. Optional: small daypack, camera.
Ages and Participant Requirements: Ages 8 and up (trail-a-bikes available.)
What to Expect and Start Location: The pace is not strenuous, but expect to do some pedaling! The tour is mostly flat, with a few hills (that can be walked up). We meet at our La Jolla Shores shop, where you will check in, sign waivers, get fitted for a bike, etc. You will drive to the top of Mt. Soledad in your vehicle, (the bikes are trucked to the top). It is a short drive and we provide instructions. After the tour, we will return you to your car. Free parking is available on the side streets. The spots marked two-hour parking are NOT RECOMMENDED (not enough time).
