Dennis Conner is the most famous sailor in the world. The America’s Cup is the longest running sporting trophy in modern times….not faltering since starting in 1870. It is the most well known and most expensive sailing event costing teams over $100,000,000 to field a competitive team.

Dennis Conner has won this trophy 4 times. Dennis is no longer competing, but today his famous 80 Ft racing yachts and the legendary 139 Ft yacht “America” are available to the general public in San Diego to provide “once in a lifetime” sailing experiences. Come Experience the famous 80 Ft "Abracadabra"  and the famous 80 Ft "Star's and Stripes"- Two Offical America's Cup Yachts.

Guests arrive 30 minutes before departure, are given an orientation of the yachts and their history. Guests then split evenly between the two yachts, will be offered an opportunity to participate as crew or option to just sit back and enjoy.

The two yachts will then race back and forth through the bay in the traditional America’s Cup match-racing fashion. Guests simply have to dress for the weather on the day. Nobody will get wet and certainly will not get seasick. Guests should bring cameras, sunscreen, hat & soft-sole shoes. Guests are welcome to bring a picnic lunch and drinks. Alcoholic Beverages can be brough on board.

ADDED BONUS: Receive free admission to The San Diego Maritime Museum any time during the day of sailing adventure. Guests can arrive as early as 9:00 am to visit the museum prior to sailing.

Departure Location:

• Downtown Waterfront: 1492 N. Harbor Drive, San Diego, 92101 at the Maritime Museum of San Diego. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to sail time.

Parking:

• There are metered spaces along Harbor Drive; the meters are free on Sunday and certain holidays that are listed on the meters.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher:

This tour must be booked at least 24hrs in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print this voucher on you home/office printer and present SIGNED voucher at departure location. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations within 48 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 48 hours are charged a minimum $10.00 per person administration fee. We charge 100% for No Shows. If the tour is cancelled by the tour operator, the full ticket price will be refunded.

Supplier and Tourcorp assume no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, breakdown, weather, conditions of trails, roads, bays, oceans, rivers, airspace and any other conditions beyond control of Supplier, in addition to insufficient numbers of passengers.
