Four Hour Ocean Sail with Whales and Dolphins

The 139 Ft yacht "America" is the famous vessel that the "America's Cup" international yacht race is named after. She is the most famous vessel in yacht racing history. She carried the Olympic flame into Savannah, GA for the start of the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games. She carries up to 85 guests and conducts.

America offers ample seating through the center from cockpit to bow. There are two restrooms designated to guests. Guests are encouraged to participate in pulling sails and may also request to steer the yacht. You may be as interactive as you wish.

That's right....you can spend as much time as you wish at the museum before or after your sail. Stroll the decks of the "Star of India", crawl through an ancient Russian submarine or play Pirates' on the "Surprise" from the Russell Crowe movie "Master & Commander."

We provide basic beverages and snacks but recommend that guests bring a picnic lunch, a blanket, their own favorite wine or beer and relax on deck as we sail to the Whales and then have an amazing sail back in from the ocean. The whales and dolphins are often a bonus to the incredible sailing experience and bragging rights that accompany sailing the "America". This yacht sails very fast for her size. The 139-ft. long sailing yacht is perfectly suited for Whale Watching because of its low sleek lines, deep keel for stability and the ability to quietly approach the Whales under sail without using noisy engine power. The yacht's low sweeping deck also gives guests a great vantage point for photographing the whales up-close.

Parking:

There are two paid parking lots located within walking distance of The Maritime Museum. Broadway and Harbor Drive and at the County Administration Center. Pay to park, Enter off Ash Street bewteen Harbor Drive and Pacific Coast Highway. On Sundays Metered Parking is available and is free. We do not recommend using meters on days other than Sunday as they are limiteds to three hours and your trip is Four Hours long.

Your credit card will be charged the total amount of products and services selected at the time of booking. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover Cards

Confirmation & Travel Voucher:

This tour must be booked at least 24hrs in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print this voucher on you home/office printer and present SIGNED voucher at departure location. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations within 48 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 48 hours are charged a minimum $10.00 per person administration fee. We charge 100% for No Shows. If the tour is cancelled by the tour operator, the full ticket price will be refunded.

Supplier and Tourcorp assume no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, breakdown, weather, conditions of trails, roads, bays, oceans, rivers, airspace and any other conditions beyond control of Supplier, in addition to insufficient numbers of passengers.

Comfortable shoes, extra layer of warm clothing, hats, visors and sunglasses. Weather: Tour route or activity may be changed depending on local weather conditions. Gratuities and Souvenirs are not included.
