Join us for our Summer Sunset Bay Cruises (May – September) on board 139 ft Yacht America. America is known as the low black schooner, a sleek black hulled sailboat. She is a replica of the original America…the first America’s Cup winner. This is truly the best way to see San Diego.

"AMERICA" is not only very beautiful but quite fast for a yacht of 139 Ft. While we may not always achieve her top speeds of 14 to 17 knots during a late afternoon San Diego sunset sail, you are guaranteed to be impressed by how smoothly she slides through the bay while you sip a cocktail and take in the sights.

If you are here on the right evening you may well find yourself in a race with any number of smaller craft gathering around to try their speed against the "AMERICA". Be assured that when you are a guest on this magnificent yacht that you are the center of attention on San Diego Bay.

We'll provide some light snacks and beverages, you bring the beer & wine if you like. We'll give you a history of this famous yacht, the America's Cup and the status of the 'cup' competition as we know it today. You get to pitch in and help us raise the huge sails, take a turn at the helm, snap off as many lovely photographs as you like....and dwell in the amazing atmosphere that comes with sailing on a yacht so beautiful and so famous. It's called "bragging rights". Tell the family and neighbors when you get home....that you helped sail Dennis Conner's legendary 'AMERICA".

Pre-Sailing Tips:

1. We have free bottled water and sodas on the boat. BYO adult beverages...We suggest that you bring your favorite bottle of wine, champagne or beer.

2. We provide sandwiches, cheese crackers, fruit and other snacks.

3. America offers ample seating on the 5 ‘doghouses’ through the center from cockpit to bow.  There are two restrooms designated to guests.  Below decks you’ll find luxury in the form of Persian Rugs, exotic timber and wall-papered surrounds, plush studded leather settees, lounge and dining chairs, Dennis Conner personal artifacts, a 47� plasma for that ‘meeting’ occasion and a huge timber dining table fit for a king….dining for 16…….large commercial galley for any occasion

4. Guests are encouraged to participate in pulling sails and may also request to steer the yacht.  You may be as interactive as you wish.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher

For every confirmed booking you will receive an e-mail with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print vouchers on your home/ office printer. Please present this E-Ticket voucher at the Box Office. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be placed 24 hours prior to event, cancellations within 24 hours are charged a per person $10.00 administrative fee. We charge 100% for No Shows. Special Events are non-refundable.
