San Diego to Tijuna - Half Day Exursion

This is a narrated driving tour that blends the old and the new in a way that only Tijuana can. After you arrive at our terminal located on Avenida Revolucion, shop the stores and boutiques of Tijuana. The driver will give you helpful shopping tips and English is spoken by most merchants.

Guests now have their choice to experience seeing more sights of Tijuana on Gray Line’s morning tour or spend more time shopping on the afternoon tour.

Travel with Gray Line’s professional coach driver guide across the “busiest international border in the world” for a cultural and historical sightseeing tour of this dynamic city blending the new with the old. See points of interest such as: Avenue of the Heros, Tijuana Cultural Center and the oldest Jai Alai Palace in Mexico.

Then time for shopping to discover the hidden treasures of unique handcrafted artifacts and fine jewelry from various regions throughout Mexico. Bargains from all over the world are to be found amongst the many shops and colorful bazaars on Avenida Revolucion, truly a shoppers place.

The driver guide will be available to give helpful shopping tips and directions to the shops recommended and approved by Tijuana’s Merchants Association for quality merchandise. American currency is accepted and English is spoken by most merchants.

Border Crossing Requirements:

U.S. Passport – This is an internationally recognized travel document that verifies a person’s identity and nationality. It is accepted for travel by air, land and sea.

U.S. Passport Card – This is a new, limited-use travel document that fits in your wallet and costs less than a U.S. Passport. It is only valid for travel by land and sea.

Enhanced Driver’s License (EDL) – Several states and Canadian provinces are issuing this driver’s license or identification document that denotes identity and citizenship. It is specifically designed for cross-border travel into the U.S. by land or sea.

Trusted Traveler Program Cards – NEXUS, SENTRI or FAST enrollment cards can speed your entry into the U.S. and are issued only to pre-approved, low-risk travelers. The cards are valid for use at land or sea; the NEXUS card can be used in airports with a NEXUS kiosk.

Special Groups – Information for Children, Groups of Children, Native Americans, "Closed Loop" Cruises, U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents, U.S. Military, Merchant Mariners, Ferries and Small Boats, and Boaters.

Knowing what documents are required and having them ready when you return home will help streamline the entry process and ensure your return to the U.S. is as smooth as possible.

Non-U.S. Citizens: 

A passport, I-94 card or resident alien card is required. Due to heightened security at the border, additional paperwork is required from visitors from some countries. This only applies to a very few countries. Please be aware of the status of your country or origin or check with the local immigration office to ensure that multiple-entry into the U.S. is allowed. This will avoid unnecessary delays. Should any person be detained upon re-entry to the U.S., Gray Line will be unable to wait while the additional paperwork is filed.  Additional charges may apply for transportation.

Your credit card will be charged the total amount of products and services selected at the time of booking. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover Cards

Confirmation & Travel Voucher:

This tour must be booked at least 24hrs in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print this voucher on you home/office printer and present SIGNED voucher at departure location. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

Cancellation Policy: 

Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged a minimum $10.00 per person administration fee. We charge 100% for No Shows. If the tour is cancelled by the tour operator, the full ticket price will be refunded.

Supplier and Tourcorp assume no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, breakdown, weather, conditions of trails, roads, bays, oceans, rivers, airspace and any other conditions beyond control of Supplier, in addition to insufficient numbers of passengers.
