Meet Mei Sheng, the second baby panda born at the San Diego Zoo! This is truly one of the most unique and most beloved species on the planet - and very few are ever seen outside their native habitat in northern China. Swing by the Zoo's newest attraction, Absolutely Apes. An expansive rain forest habitat where orangutans and siamangs live and play together just like they do in the wild.

The San Diego Zoo is recognized worldwide for their ability to care for animals that many people might never have imagined to exist. Examples include the Zoo's new baby malaysian tapir and the famous naked mole rats; a species that unhesitantly chews tunnels through metal and concrete, and yet is lovingly and visibly accomodated in the zoo's transparent colony enclosure. They won't mind being watched, though; naked mole rats lack not only hair and pigment, but also vision. And what is that tiny animal barking at you? A lap dog? No! It's a deer!"

Hotel Pick Up Is Required for This Tour: Grayline San Diego provides hotel pick-up service from a limited amount of hotel locations around the San Diego Area as a courtesy to our customers. Hotel Pick up List

Please provide both the hotel name and hotel address on the order form. Without the hotel address there too many Holiday Inn, Sheraton, Days Inn, Etc. in San Diego to locate you. The hotel addrees is importat so we pick you up from the correct hotel. Thanks. If your hotel is not on the list or you are not staying at a hotel we can pick you up at a hotel closest to your location.

If you can not provide the hotel name and address on the order form you will have to call the tour operator 24-48 hours prior to you tour departure to confirm a hotel location and pick up time. The Tour operator phone number will be on your tour confirmation email.

Return Details:

Tour concludes at the original departure point.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher

For every confirmed booking you will receive an e-mail with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print vouchers on your home/ office printer. Please present this E-Ticket voucher at the Box Office. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

This tour must be booked at least 24 hours in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12- 24 hours subject to availability.

Cancellation and No Show Policy

Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged a minimum $10.00 per person administration fee. We charge for NO SHOWS. No Shows on tour dates are charged 100%. Some specific tours and activities have a higher cancellation fee due to the limited space available.

Recommended for all tours in San Diego: Comfortable shoes, hats, visors and sunglasses.

Weather: Tour route or activity may be changed depending on local weather conditions.
